Sarangani, Philippines – Napadpad daw sa karagatan ng Dampilan, Lumatil, Maasim, Sarangani Province ang national bird ng bansa, ngunit sa isang post ay kitang-kitang nakatali ito, sa mabuting palad ay na-rescue na ito.
A female Philippine Eagle was rescued by fishermen of Dampilan, Lumatil, Maasim, Sarangani Province in the afternoon of December 13, 2019. A resident of the same barangay immediately reported and brought the said raptor to LGU Maasim in the care of MENRO Alejandra Sison. The eagle weighs more than 5kg, with a length of approx 15 inches and with about 1 meter wingspan. The eagle was observed to be dehydrated but with no injuries.
On December 14, 2019 at 6am, officials of LGU Maasim thru Vice Mayor Visitacion Nambatac, the DENR 12 represented by For. Mangayao Macapodi and CENRO Kiamba's CDD Chief, For. Jerric B. Labor, PMF Edgar Calderon and FTI Maria N. Tubera witnessed the turn over of the rescued raptor to the Philippine Eagle Foundation (PEF) from Davao City.
According to the PEF staff, the rescued eagle will undergo series of laboratory test to determine its health condition. They will inform all concerned on the findings later on. During the turn over, VM Nambatac named the female eagle as Maasim Pride, letting us remember Sarangani Pride, the rescued male Philippine Eagle in 2016 at BarangayBatian, Maitum. Street sweeper lang yung matanda and earns only 100 pesos a day. Ibudget nya yun for 3 meals to feed himself and his 7 dogs and some more stray dogs pa. YONGZHOU, CHINA — A husky from the Chinese city of Yongzhou was so excited to see his owner, he did his best Air Bud impression from the second floor of a house and landed right on the guy.
Liu is a 67-year-old-man from Yongzhou City, China (China's Hunan province) was returning to his house on Monday after visiting his relatives. Liu was unfortunately knocked down when something heavy fell from above and rendered unconscious due to the impact. Luckily his family immediately called an ambulance for help.
Speaking with Sina News about the incident, Liu recalled that his first thought after waking up in the hospital was that the wall of his house had collapsed on top of him, but he later learned that he had been hit by his pet husky. Apparently, the 60-pound pooch was so excited to see Liu come home that he jumped from the second floor of he house, landing on top of him.
“On the sixth day of the New Year, we were returning home together,” Liu told Sina News. “Just when we were about to reach the front door, we were suddenly stunned by something falling from the sky.”
Liu was sent to First People’s Hospital of Zhangzhou City and the result of the hospital's examine revealed that the impact of the dog hitting his head had caused a cervical spine fracture. Liu must undergo surgery to his spine to fix the damage, but claims that he doesn’t blame the dog. Still, to make sure that this sort of accident doesn’t happen again, but sad news that the man’s family have chained the dog in the yard. In case you were wondering, the over-excited dog was not injured in the fall.
Dogs, they say, is a man’s best friend. Probably this could be true. We have seen and heard stories and instances where dogs have saved their owner’s life. Some of them saved people they know nothing about, as long as they think someone’s in trouble. They mostly can sense if a calamity is coming, like a tsunami. They are a big help to the human race. For instance, this dog in the video, is indeed a sociable being. Seeing a lifelike creature on the couch, made this dog very excited, it is because the thing on the couch is new to his eyes. With friendliness, the dog reaches for the attention of this creature on the couch. Doggie instantly brought its fetch toy so they could play together. But to the dog’s dismay, no response was given from the other thing. The full attention that this dog been longing to have was not met. Well, it is because it is a doll! Yes, it is a beautiful stuffed Elsa doll. But of course this friendly dog doesn’t know that it is just a doll!
Since doggie doesn’t have a hint that Elsa is also a play thing, he continuously urged the doll to play with his fetch toy. It is such a kind act, willing to share his toy to a stranger just to gain a new friend. But the dog’s family, who is just around the corner, saw everything the dog did. To them, all the efforts that the dog made to gain a new friend was such adorable. It was amazing to see how this dog tried his mightiest to please someone new to his sight. It was such an adorable gesture; and they couldn’t help themselves but giggle. Being friendly and kind with someone is so admirable. It is just surprising that dogs, like this in the video, have friendly and kind attitude like human beings.
However, not all dogs are as friendly as this. Though, in general and by nature dogs are friendly creatures, but how they deal with people varies. According to some studies, dogs’ attitude and behavior depend on their breed and of course on how they are raised by their owners or human family. This dog is can be seen as friendly and kind being; perhaps these traits are adopted from how his human family deals other people.
The dog’s family is indeed fortunate to have a kind and sociable pet. And this dog is very persistent too. He did not give up so easily instead he unstoppably convinced Elsa to play with him. But, well Elsa is a doll so she couldn’t give in to dog's request.
Yet, it is not just his family that is lucky to have him but this dog is lucky as well for he is really loved by every member. They showered the dog with their full attention after few minutes of the dog’s struggle with Elsa. This family really knows how to rescue their beloved dog from big dismay. To this family this dog is more than just a pet.

It is always painful to see someone bidding goodbye especially if that someone means a lot to you. Not a day goes by that you will not think about the person and their memory with you lingers in your heart and mind all the time.
These feelings are not just limited to person to person relationship but also to our loving pets. Pets will always be a part of our family and they will always have a special place in our hearts. We also miss them when we are away. It is undeniable that they are definitely priceless to us.
Just like Lennox, an 11-year-old, young boy from Nashville, Tennessee who bear the pain of being away from his beloved pet Bogart. Bogart is actually the pet of his neighbor. But Lennox and Bogart’s relationship is like a family. The owner of Bogart regularly travels for a tour as a musician, so, when Bogart has been gone for a year, Lennox has been unhappy and sad.
Though Lennox has a Shih Tzu dog of his own named Happy, he still has this special connection with Bogart. So his mom decided to surprise Lennox upon the return of Bogart from California. Bogart usually stays with the neighbor’s mother when the owner is usually on tour.

For Lennox, his love for Bogart could not be exactly defined. His love for him is immeasurable and unconditional. Bogart shows the same way too. For some people, dogs are very loyal and loving to those who treats them well. They have the full capacity to love back and even serve and protect you for the rest of their lives. That’s how great dogs are. They are loyal, loving and definitely brave.
Being apart from someone you love is really painful and sad. It is never easy to absorb all the pain every time you remember your wonderful memories together. If you could just possibly tell time to make you both always together, surely you would do it for the sake of being with someone you value the most.
